We had something of a development frenzy in May with groundbreaking events for The Villages at Central State, The Promenade at Founders Square, and The Haskell Building at AmeriPlex-Marquette, as well as the kick off of Airport Logistics Park. Employee News

(Portage, Ind.) – Holladay Properties would like to welcome Michelle Mosier to the Portage office as Administrative Assistant. Ms. Mosier will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office and looks forward to helping the staff function more efficiently. Good luck, Michelle!

(South Bend, Ind.) – Nora Wiseman has joined Holladay Properties as a Portfolio Accountant in our South Bend office. She comes to Holladay from Tiedemann Group where she performed accounting and payroll duties for two years. Ms. Wiseman joined Holladay to be a part of a larger company with a team-oriented environment. Welcome, Nora!


(South Bend, Ind.) – Congratulations to Preston Chaney, Jr., a staff member at the Inn at Saint Mary’s in South Bend. Mr. Chaney recently received a Distinguished Service Award in Education from the South Bend Human Rights Commission for his commitment to providing local youths with education to set them up for a successful future. (Lafayette, La.) – When a prospective tenant informed Property Manager Patty Guckeen that he had interviewed existing tenants to get their feedback on Holladay’s Property Management (and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive), she decided to conduct her own mini-survey. She asked tenants in the facility, “If you could find a word that best describes the services provided by Holladay Properties at [this property], what would that word be?” She was astounded by some of the responses, which included:

(Westfield, Ind.) – Holladay Hospitality is pleased to announce that our newest and 10th operating hotel has opened in Westfield, Ind. The 4-story, 93 room Hampton Inn Westfield Indianapolis is now open at 17400 Wheeler Road and celebrated with a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting with Mayor Andy Cook on June 7.

In the Community

(South Bend, Ind.) – Holladay Properties attended this year’s Great Friends of School Breakfast to benefit the South Bend Education Foundation. Paul Phair serves on the Board of Directors of the South Bend Education Foundation, which helps support teachers and students in South Bend public schools. (Nashville, Tenn.) – On April 21, the Holladay in the Community team arrived with their sleeves rolled up and smiles on their faces ready to assist the Second Harvest Food Bank. This was the first event that took the team into the community, and there were 19 volunteers who helped unload and sort hundreds of vegetables for distribution to over 150 families.
