At Holladay Properties, we strive to be leaders in our industry. This is not only done through our corporate contributions to the landscapes of our communities, but also through our commitment to encouraging our employees to seek out opportunities to advance in their education and help mold the next generation of real estate professionals. Inspired by this mission, three members of our South Bend Property Management team recently committed to new leadership roles which will shape the industry in their region.
For many years, our Property Management division has been involved with the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®). This global organization consists of over 20,000 real estate professionals seeking to advance the trade. Through IREM®, property managers and their companies earn distinct credentials that establish them as leaders in both residential and commercial real estate. This includes the Certified Property Manager (CPM®), Accredited Residential Manager (ARM®), Accredited Commercial Manager (ACoM®) and Accredited Management Organization (AMO®) designations. By providing resources and courses, professionals are able to keep up to speed in their field, gain influential contacts and relationships, and manage their portfolios with the tools to achieve great success.

IREM® is devised of regional chapters which are managed by teams of elected, local officers who can speak to the educational needs of their communities. On Tuesday, November 13th, Vice President of Property Management Jackie Green, Director of Business Development Elliot Lusk, and Assistant Property Manager Cassie Sprigg were honored by accepting key leadership roles in their regional Chapter 100, which consists of members from the towns of South Bend, Fort Wayne, Valparaiso, Chesterton, Griffith, Merrillville, LaPorte, Plymouth, Napanee and Hobart.
A distinct honor, Jackie Green was elected as the President of Chapter 100. As President, she will be responsible for presiding all meetings of the chapter and its executive council, and attending the IREM® regional and national conferences, overseeing the implementation of a carefully thought-out strategic plan, voting on committees, and working with the Association Executive to plan relevant tours and educational programs to advance the mission and success of the chapter. Her term will be 2 years, after which her successor will take over.
